Since the early morning arsonist fire on February 9, 2004, the Pastor and leadership of St. John Baptist Church have been working deliberately and methodically to rebuild God’s Church.

We are grateful to The American Baptist Extension Corporation (ABEC) for their assistance in developing the organizational and strategic plans necessary to rebuild.

Soon after the fire, a Building Council was formed to direct the rebuilding process. In addition, five committees (Survey, Program, Finance, Communications and Construction) were formed to assist in this effort. The leadership and members of these committees are working diligently to complete their assigned tasks.

We ask God’s blessings upon all individuals and organizations that have provided prayers, assistance and support during this difficult time.
